GreyRx is the prescription for new and refreshed chemical consumer product development that is modern marketing-ready.
Daniel Grey, 45, is lead consultant of his small, private development and marketing firm GreyRx. He is lucky
enough to have a name that matches the genetic mutation that caused his hair to turn grey at an early age. Sheer
marketing memorability luck!
With science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from UCSD he started his career by gaining substantial
business exposure in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutritional products, and food industries. He enjoyed
growing several startup companies in the nearly perfect business incubator of La Jolla, near San Diego.
A scientist turned data-oriented online promoter, he is a marketing guy with a quirk: he simply knows a thing
or two about consumer product chemistry. Food, supplements, flavors, water products, soap (!), he has privately
consulted each to their successful development, launch and profit. Liquids, tablets, capsules, liquigels,
powders. Admittedly, it is weird. But it is extremely rare and handy to have a chemical techie who speaks
marketing, or rather, a marketing guy who can perform or communicate technical specifics to developers, patent
attorneys, the public, and you, the boss.
In recent years, Dr. Grey has been quietly retained by many companies to aide in nutritional product
development, from formulation to launch. New formats and new ways to grab consumer attention are always at the
fore.
Areas as diverse as endurance athletics, weight loss, probiotics, smart foods, and autoimmune support
fascinate him. He is always vigilant to understand the technology behind nutritional supplement trends before
agreeing to promote, and will tell you plainly if you have an idea that is unlikely to be in regulatory
compliance.
